This weekend I didn't want to just lay around in bed and so we went out.
On Saturday we had my car washed, got Paul's hair cut (I swear, his hair grows like weeds!!!), went to the mall and I got a new pair of sandals, went to the movies and watched 10,000 B.C. (which wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be) and then had dinner with my sister and her family. It was that night that I finished A Great and Terrible Beauty and I also caught an episode of Torchwood which a co-worker suggested to me - but only after I'd seen it mentioned often on Monkey's Vox. The show was very interesting, and I'd be up for watching it again.
On Sunday we cleaned a bit and watched some episodes of the first season Battlestar Galatica. I was bummed though because I bought the first season and also the mini-series as we're trying to build our collection before the forth season begins on April 4th. However, I was unaware that the first season includes the mini-series so now we have two copies of that :( I'm going to plead with Amazon to let me have some store credit for it, but I doubt that'll happen. I forgot what a good show that was :) The time change was completely forgotten by me and so I was an hour late getting ready to see Jose and his family. He was cool with it though, and we went over there for dinner and a movie. I finally watched the first Die Hard - and I can see why people enjoyed it and I'm excited to see the other two (as I've seen the forth already).
All in all, the weekend was busy which I enjoyed!

In December of 2006 I had a post called '4 funny things about Die Hard 2'. No spoilers, but you may want to watch the movie first and see if you agree with me!
I haven't written much about our tv watchings recently. I would like to say it's because I've been too busy but that would be a lie. Well a partial lie!
It's touted as an adult version of Doctor Who but I think it's more teenager-y, which isn't necessarily a bad thing!
