As some/most of you know, Paul & I are traveling to Scotland in 2008. Instead of clogging this blog with a bunch of travel planning and packing revelations - I've created a second blog. Feel free to follow the link, see how the planning/trip is going and drop a comment if you'd like.
That must be exciting for you and is certainly a good endorsement for the website - it is nice to read examples of this when so much customer service seems to have gone out the window!
Oh the doll - though I am not sure what sort of doll it is you are so excited about :-)
When I click on your blog name I got the doll story on your post page but when I hit comment I got the countdown clock .
The trip is exciting too. Where are you going? How long for? I went to Edinburgh many years ago in a January and it was so much fun but it was unbelievably cold!
Vox is likely acting up :P Here's the doll that I'm purchasing. She's made out of resin, is about 21 inches tall and is ball-jointed so she's very poseable. I plan on making clothes for her and also using her for photography :)
We're going to Scotland with a two day (one day in the beginning of our trip and one day at the end) layover in Dublin. We're going in April/May of next year. I'm really excited :) I've never been on a plane - haven't really traveled much anywhere!
I've collected smaller dolls - called Blythe - in the past. I've always been interested in the larger more poseable dolls but never could understand the price. I guess the more and more you get into a hobby the more and more you understand :)
I'm hoping that the flight will be enjoyable - I'm going with my husband so I figure if I get freaked out he'll be there with me :P
Don't know if you're aware of this or not but the BBC Scotland website puts up photos from the public once a week. They change every Friday I believe. Some are scenery, some are city shots, some are wildlife and some are picture's of people's kids! I think the idea is to show 'life' in Scotland during that week.

Well you have certainly picked an exciting way to start flying! I'm sure you are going to enjoy the whole experience.

All I ask is for you to take pictures if you ever see the "Lost" sign. http://www.phouka.com/travel/other/lost/lost.html
