Scotland Blog!

That must be exciting for you and is certainly a good endorsement for the website - it is nice to read examples of this when so much customer service seems to have gone out the window!
I'm not sure if you're talking about the Scotland blog or my most recent post about my incoming doll - but yes, both are terribly exciting :)
Oh the doll - though I am not sure what sort of doll it is you are so excited about :-)

When I click on your blog name I got the doll story on your post page but when I hit comment I got the countdown clock .

The trip is exciting too. Where are you going? How long for? I went to Edinburgh many years ago in a January and it was so much fun but it was unbelievably cold!
Vox is likely acting up :P Here's the doll that I'm purchasing. She's made out of resin, is about 21 inches tall and is ball-jointed so she's very poseable. I plan on making clothes for her and also using her for photography :)

We're going to Scotland with a two day (one day in the beginning of our trip and one day at the end) layover in Dublin. We're going in April/May of next year. I'm really excited :) I've never been on a plane - haven't really traveled much anywhere!
Oh wow! That is an expensive doll - I see why you have to pay in installments! Is this your first collectors doll or do you have others?

Well you have certainly picked an exciting way to start flying! I'm sure you are going to enjoy the whole experience.
I've collected smaller dolls - called Blythe - in the past. I've always been interested in the larger more poseable dolls but never could understand the price. I guess the more and more you get into a hobby the more and more you understand :)

I'm hoping that the flight will be enjoyable - I'm going with my husband so I figure if I get freaked out he'll be there with me :P
Great site :-)
Thanks! I enjoy it :)
Don't know if you're aware of this or not but the BBC Scotland website puts up photos from the public once a week. They change every Friday I believe. Some are scenery, some are city shots, some are wildlife and some are picture's of people's kids! I think the idea is to show 'life' in Scotland during that week.
No, I wasn't aware, thanks for passing that along :)
Maura, you're like web-famous and stuff. You'll really have to take the doll for pictures now.
I don't know if I'm "web-famous" ::blushes:: but I'm definitely taking my doll. I'm even getting a custom outfit made for her!!!

All I ask is for you to take pictures if you ever see the "Lost" sign. http://www.phouka.com/travel/other/lost/lost.html

You're lucky, Lost is in the Aberdeenshire and we're going to Aberdeen :) You may get a picture yet!
You may take a look at http://www.travbuddy.com/ that's what I used when I went on my road trip :)
Just be thankful you're not going anywhere near Heathrow :-)
the whole damn thing reminds me of comedian johnny dee...fat and ugly LOL
What whole thing?
Oh, I know! I'm already dealing with LAX, I don't want to deal with anything else like it!
Have a great time on your trip--say hi to the Loch Ness monster for us!
Haha! Will do, I'm so excited to go there :P
