What have you lost that you wish you still had?

My first Sony MiniDisc Player. This was given to me for Christmas one year from my parents - and I'll always remember how proud I was of my parents for finding such a neat, emerging technology without me suggesting it. Before MP3 players over-ran the market here in the US, they were competition for MDs and I chose MDs happily. I'm someone who loves to have the media in my hands. Good example? Paul actually found that PSP game WTF for free as a file - but I insisted on buying it so that I could have the disc.

Anyhow, I loved this little player with all my heart and I carried it proudly. One day it went missing though, and I've missed it ever since. I think it might have been stolen - though I can't really say for sure. I later bought another way - but it wasn't the same and I missed a lot of the advanced features that my Sony one had. When it broke I didn't replace it with another and eventually I simply bought a MP3 player.

I still think about that player though - and I miss it :(

I revised my sales thread on TiB where I had a ton of Barbie Fashion Fever I regretted buying up for sale. Originally I decided to try out the whole, "here's a Flickr set" type of thread as those are getting more and more common - but I wasn't getting any bites. So I did the original posting of each item in the thread and I've sold five items in the last hour :) I just want to get these things our of my way - so please, please buy them!

In other seller news, I haven't yet sold my camera that's posted on eBay. The day before yesterday I got an email from an eBay member saying, "All of the other cameras like yours are selling for much less than your Buy It Now price [which is set at $200] and I was wondering if you'd accept $150 plus shipping for it?" I responded that I wasn't ready to end the auction yet - but I would get back with them if I changed my mind. I'm not silly enough to think that I'm going to get what I paid for it almost three years ago - but its working perfectly and the buyer is getting a ton of stuff too - so I feel I should hold out for some good bids. But then I thought, why didn't this person just place a bid at the $130 starting price? It's less than $200 and I'm sure that they have a great chance of winner. I'm going to think they are nice and were trying to give me what they felt was fair without going under my original request. Do you think I should accept it?

What kind of camera(s) do you own?

Sony Cybershot, DSC-W7

I bought this camera about...2.5 years ago and I've really been happy with it. It small but not too small, it's not heavy, it does good "point-and-shoot" shots, the resolution is great at 7.2mp.The only time I'm dissatisfied with it is when it comes to macro - considering it only has 3x optical zoom. It does better than some - but I know I could do better with a different camera. The newest camera I've been looking at is this one, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8. I saw it featured last night on this tech show I watch - and it made me want to look at the reviews - which have been good. Now all I have to do is get the money to buy it...
